Open, Honest, Timely Communication Throughout the Entire Process

The entire HDC team of designers, production and project managers, carpenters, laborers, estimators, and office administrators are committed to providing you with open and honest communication in a timely fashion. Our collaborative process from start to finish keeps our valued clients well-informed and engaged during each critical phase of the design-build process. 

The process and partnership begins with an in-home design or virtual consultation. Either onsite or online consultation is completely free as part of our prospective remodeling start-up process and policy. Our team of home renovation and design-build experts welcome the opportunity to tour your home to help you fully realize your remodeling project goals and the vision for your space.

Once we receive an inquiry, we pride ourselves on quickly getting back to you to discuss your project and set up an initial consultation. At that consultation, we will listen to your needs and ideas to ensure we have a clear understanding of your desired outcome as well as discuss possible solutions and options to achieve what you are trying to accomplish. We will take measurements and photos so that we can later provide you with more specific solutions for your project along with a ballpark estimate. We will also take the opportunity to provide you with a portfolio of other Chicago area home remodeling and home improvement projects, completed by HDC.

Once the Introductions & Exploration phase has been completed, depending on the estimated scope of your project, it’s time to begin the next step in our innovative home improvement and remodeling process. As a Design-Build firm, we have the expertise to provide our customers with multiple options, from a full-service design-build experience to general contracting services. We pride ourselves on being flexible to meet our client’s needs.
