Spidr Design, an Aurora-based internet marketing company, was in need of a new space for their employees to work in. After meeting with Hogan Design & Construction (HDC), a plan was created, and the early stages of this 5,000-square-foot transformation from a blank slate commercial space to a functional and efficient office environment were set in motion.

John Vendafreddo, the project manager for this job, worked closely with the team at Spidr to overcome several challenges encountered along the way. There were numerous design features packed into this project: textured ceiling tiles, custom pre-finished wood-paneled walls, a bookcase with a rolling ladder, unique light figures, a live moss wall, stained concrete floors, and more. An overhead garage door that hides above the drop ceiling was also installed. Additionally, new electrical, gas, and water needed to be run to the unit as well. All of these challenges, combined with keeping the project deadlines and inspections on schedule made for a project that required close attention to detail and strong communication.

When all was said and done, the client was blown away by the finished product. The plan was executed flawlessly, and the end result looked even better than the inspiration images. Above all else, Spidr appreciated the attention to detail that John Vendafreddo and the rest of the Hogan Design & Construction team brought to the project.
